Intentionally fragmented throughout this ASMR video are some brief chats about:
– My own experiences with some traits associated with ADHD: impatience, perfectionism, procrastination, and impulsive behavior. I forgot to mention being forgetful, zoning out, not knowing how to relax, lying (not anymore, I swear!), and probably some others
– Video games, both old and new, one of which involves pawns crash landing onto a frontier planet at the rim of space 😉
– And a particular favorite lunchtime cuisine of mine
I hope this helps you relax, sleep, and experience ASMR, especially if you have to cope with ADHD and/or its symptoms, whether or not you’ve been diagnosed with it. I’ve never been diagnosed with anything, mostly because I’m quite fortunate to not have any debilitating issues that prevent me from working, etc. Not to say I haven’t had my share of issues. But at 51 years old (as of 2022) I’ve made progress. The work never truly ends though, as there’s no such thing as perfection, and there’s always room to improve until death do us part.
Lastly, this is another example of an idea being published around a special date. This time it’s the month of October being ADHD Awareness Month, which I did not realize (or forgot). So I guess we can consider this my little incidental contribution to that cause.
